ABOUT LINTULintu Von is a beauty and makeup effects artist located in Nashville TN with over a decade of experience.
Born in California, but raised in the south, Lintu got her start in makeup back in 2010 when she enrolled into the Joe Blasco Makeup Academy in Hollywood, California. There she studied practical effects and prosthetic application under Suzana Rupe and prosthetic sculpting, casting, and running foam latex under Rob Burman. After several months of hard work and dedication, Lintu graduated with a Masters in Makeup Artistry.
Shortly after moving back to Georgia when she graduated she started her internship with Atlanta’s own Monster Maker, Toby Sells (Toby Sells FX Shop). There she studied how to do mold making, life casting, and sculpting as well as working with materials such as silicone, flex foam, foam/liquid latex, fiberglass, alginate, and urethanes. During her time at the shop she had the pleasure of assisting making props and makeup effects for shows such as AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, The CW’s “Vampire Diaries”, and MTV’s “Teen Wolf" under Toby's guidance.
Since then she has had the pleasure of working for Dolly Parton, Tyler Perry, Lizzo, and several TV and Film productions across Georgia and Tennessee as well as being internationally published. In 2017 Lintu graduated from The International School Of Skin And Nails with her Esthetics and Laser Technician Licenses. She has since moved on to sharing her knowledge with eager students looking to break into the film industry by becoming the Intro to Makeup Effects Instructor at The GA Film Academy and the Special Makeup Effects Instructor at Nashville Film Institute.
